Has anyone read The Little Stranger? It is a ghost story, and one of the first ways the ghost makes itself known is by leaving uneven little scorch marks in unnatural places.
This is a photo of a smudgy burn mark that spontaneously appeared on my bathroom wall. Is there ever fire in this room? NO.
