In December, I decided that I should read more, especially since in my reality, the inverse of reading is watching The Hills on DVD. I’ve been semi-successful at this (Lauren Conrad and her life still factor into mine more than I feel comfortable owning to) and ended up reading seven books in January. What does it say about me that I saw these and barely had the chance to register what they were before delightedly thinking “do want!”? (You can choose to see this as a question about the fact that I use “do want!” as a legitimate grammatical construction and/or that I really want power tools.)
Update!
This evening, I made lasagne for dinner and the rest of the week’s lunches. I ran out of tin foil, so it is slightly more dry than normal, but still good. It’s very hard to ruin anything that contains tomato sauce, bechamel, and pasta (among other things).

A thought:
Listening to a playlist that includes “Pull Over” by Trina, a spate of Girl Talk songs, and most significantly, “Upgrade U” is a good idea for neither the office nor the subway. Unless of course, booty-shaking is a personal goal for the day. Meanwhile, I will be sitting here shamefacedly squirming around in my seat.
